Restricted Area Treks

There are few areas in Nepal such as Upper Mustang, Upper Dolpo, Manaslu, Lower Dolpo Jumla Rara Lake and some others controlled by the government for tourists in order to protect natural beauty, culture and environment. These trekking areas are different in many ways from normal trails.

Mustang Lo Manthang

Upper Dolpo Trek

Isolated until 1989, the Upper Dolpo area is situated at the rain-shadowed side of the Himalaya. The rugged scenery: desolate hills, a thrilling hardcore landscape, guarded by impressive peaks, striving for heaven cast a spell on the trekkers. Lower Dolpo Trek

The area located in the central west of Nepal is the Shey-Phoksundo National Park. Lower Dolpo area offers off-the-beaten track where we fly from Nepalgunj to Juphal and on to the Phoksundo National Park which covers an area of 3555 sq. km. This trek gives you a wonderful opportunity to experience a landscape and culture far different from that found in other parts of Nepal. 

Round Manaslu Trek

This challenging trek circumnavigates the World's eighth highest peak, Manaslu (8,163 m) range and is officially opened to trekkers in 1991. It is a rewarding trek with brilliant mountain vistas of the Ganesh and Manaslu Himal ranges and one can experience the ethnic cultures and traditional lifestyle of mountain people perhaps not found on any other trekking regions.
